China Camp shores

Still having that high 70 degree weather in Marin.....took advantage and did some plein air painting along the shores of China Camp in San Rafael, Ca. Wow, I have to admit I'm a bit rusty painting on location but it felt really good to be outdoors again.....in November?
Here's a closer look at another painter painting along the edge of the upper parking lot.

Sounds like a good time for impromptu paintouts - until the rains start. Painters can just post meetups when they feel like company. This weather is great.

Dude, I love the reflections in the water. I should get back to plein air, but we don't have the advantages of moderate temperatures. One of many things I miss about living in the Bay Area...
