Easter Sunday

Wow, it's been awhile since my last sketch journal entry. With the constant rain here in Nor-Cal, it's just not the same traveling, exploring and sketching. I've been staying busy with projects from work and customizing figures...just trying to keep the creative mojo going.

Missing the feel of the good ol' pencil and paper, I made sure to bring my supplies to mass on Easter Sunday. I've seen church sketches done before from other artist, especially my AIS classmate Rachel, and they're great! It felt quite uncomfortable at the start, but soon became a mini-sketchcrawl.

Nice work--always loved the quality of watercolors. I've always found the act of sketching itself as a sort of prayer/meditative thing, especially out in the woods.

fabulous watercolour job. I am not quite confident at drawing and painting in the public. You did well. :)

Man, if I'd have known that I could draw in church I might have lasted longer as a Catholic. :-)

Hey there. I loved the goldfish project. Your stuff has such a classic feel to it. Sippin' hot coco while I look over some sweet drawings. That's my idea of an afternoon. Thanks for the break from reality. Keep it up!
