Here's a sketch I did after attending the E-ville/Pixar show at the Super 7 store last weekend. Finally threw some colors over it using Photoshop late last night. I wanted to show the progression, but towards the end, had difficulty coloring his jacket...it seems a bit bold and out of place compared to the rest of the color scheme.

i think the jacket works rather well, because you're using pale-ish colours for the skin and background.

looking spiffy!

I like the jacket's colour...but if you want something lighter...maybe a tan? I've seen men in tan windbreakers.

you have beautiful work on this site, thank you.

Cecilia - Thanks. Wow all the way from Argentina! That's awesome. Nice to meet you & thanks for visiting.

Lyn, ag, alina - Thank you so much :)

catnapping - The tan color is a great observation. Now that you mention it, what if I added a good ol' "Member's Only" jacket...in tan? ha-ha. Thanks.

I really like both your line work and coloring in this piece.

I think my favorite state is the middle panel with the ground showing through for both the hat and coat.

You have some great work here on your Blog. Thanks again for visiting my Blog :)
