Just adding the final touches....
This painting was inspired by spending an afternoon at a beach where pelicans continuously flew from a lake, over our heads and into the Pacific Ocean. We sat there for about 45 minutes just snapping photos and observing the pelicans taking turns to find food.

The colors and patterns were inspired by the decor in our living room.

Gerald, I love pelicans...in fact the Fog picture we posted recently had pelicans flying through the fog at the GG Bridge -- yes, only the discerning eye could see it. They are tiny spots in the small image! I really am amazed at how well your art matches the pillow in this picture which is also a work of art. Looks like a patchwork of raw silk - absolutely lovely together!
